Welcome to Harbor View Quilts. We specialize in paper pieced patterns.
While all our patterns can be done using your favorite paper piecing methods, if you follow our easy to use detailed instructions, you will be able to place all the fabric pieces on the pattern using the straight grain of the fabric as in traditional piecing(there will be no bias edges on the outside of the block) . This will allow you to use stripes, plaids and directional fabrics and remove the papers after each section or block is completed but before sewing all the sections together. The result is that you will not have all the paper bulk, especially on a larger project, the quilt will be flatter, straighter and easier to quilt.
